How It Works

The D64 system converts a standard Hot Wheels or similar 1/64 scale die-cast body into a fully remote-controlled micro RC drift car. You fit the DKEBUILDS chassis inside the shell  and just like that, your favourite die-cast becomes a fully functional drifter.

Assembly Level

This kit requires basic assembly skills  no soldering needed. If you can follow instructions and enjoy hands-on builds, you'll be fine. Expect to spend a satisfying hour or two putting it together.

What You'll Need to Complete the Build

  • A 1/64 scale die-cast shell (Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc.)
  • A compatible 2.4GHz transmitter / remote control
  • Small Phillips screwdriver

Are they easy to build?

Medium Difficulty, Easy to Understand Instructions, it’s just small parts and can get quite fiddly. Also need to be gentle. Other than that, mostly anyone can build one.

What Cars can I Fit on it?

ANY if you modify it enough haha. But in reality, MOST 1/64 Diecast cars fit. Vans and trucks are easy as there’s lots of room. But generally the likes of Hotwheels, Matchbox, Mini-GT and other Diecasts Work with the kit

Where do I buy the Remote, Battery and Charger?

Depending on your Country. Amazon, or EBay. Radiolink rc4gs v3 For Remote. 3.7v 80mah 1s lipo for battery. 2pin jst1.25 usb charger. They’re what you need. If you can’t find them still. Message me I’ll help:)

Can I Use Any Remote?

hmm, kind of. As long as the receiver is TINY. Then yes of course you can. We use the radiolink r4fgm. But there’s a many others out there that are small enough. Noble, flysky all make tiny Receivers with great gyros integrated. Perfect for this kit!
